Celebrate Asian Pacific Islander (API) Month 2025
AI in the Humanities: Conversation with President Zaki and Tom Leung '96

RepresentAsian invites you to a special virtual event in celebration of Asian Pacific Islander (API) Month 2025. Join us for an engaging fireside chat on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the Humanities. This conversation will feature President Safa Zaki and Tom Leung ’96, a distinguished AI and Product Strategy expert. Together, they’ll explore how AI is shaping our understanding of the humanities, offering both academic and industry perspectives. The event will include a moderated Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to join the dialogue. Please note, the session will not be recorded.
Tom Leung ’96 is an AI and product strategy consultant, angel investor, and former Director at Google, where he led some of the company’s most complex applied AI product initiatives. Over his career, he has founded two startups and held senior product leadership roles at YouTube, Google Analytics, and Microsoft. Tom currently advises startups and serves as an industry mentor at Stanford and UC Berkeley.
