Students and families should have the emergency contact information of on-site staff. If you are having difficulty contacting the host institution, OCS may be able to assist. OCS can be contacted in the case of emergency by calling ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Security at +1 207 725 3500. 

Remember that ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ students have access to Travel Guard WorldRisk Assistance when they are traveling outside the United States. This is an emergency assistance service designed to assist you with extraordinary needs. 

US Citizens are recommended throughout OCS's advising process to have registered for the State Department's (STEP) for alerts regarding in-country emergencies.
